The Face of Jesus in a Pizza

I saw this article the other day, and I thought it was pretty unique.

Face of Jesus Appears in Three-Cheese Pizza

They say that this pizza came out with the face of Jesus. I think it is pretty neat. At the same time, it is kinda corny how our culture recognizes Jesus. People often associate “Jesus” with cheesy pictures or they picture him as a wimpy character. No- Jesus is much more than that!

    I hear ya and agree Brandon. Most images you see are of Jesus as a long haired white man and I do not think that is very accurate. Most people however, associate Jesus being what makes them most comfortable and not who he actually is…

      Very true. It’s time that we as Christians act like Jesus so that others don’t picture Him in the false way they commonly do…

    I think we have no idea what Jesus looked like (he’s not a 15th century white dude…) and based on the way some Christian groups idolize that image (I’m thinking Catholics, but others as well) I believe God didn’t want us to know what he looked like.

    We know he had a beard thanks to the gospels, and we know he was ugly thanks to Isaiah.

    I guess I just don’t like stuff like this. I think it really highlights things that are wrong with “American Christianity”

      Yeah… we definitely make Jesus look like a guy totally opposite of what the Bible sorta describes Him as.
