Jesus, You Steady My Heart

I came across an awesome song from Kari Jobe a few weeks ago called “Steady My Heart”. It was an encouragement for me because it talked about how God stabilizes our heart. No matter what trials we face, God will give us strength. It is hard to be a Christian in the world. It is great to know, however, that Jesus is bigger than all the problems in the world.

“Don’t tell God how big your problem is. Tell your problem how big your God is.”

As I listened to the song, I was encouraged because it resonated with me. God is there to stabilize our hectic lives if we allow Him. I’ve posted the song and the lyrics below…

Wish it could be easy. Why is life so messy

Why is pain a part of us. There are days I feel like Nothing ever goes right Sometimes it just hurts so much
But You’re here

You’re real. I know I can trust You

Even when it hurts. Even when it’s hard.  Even when it all just falls apart.  I will run to You. Cause I know that You are.

Lover of my soul Healer of my scars. You steady my heart

I’m not gonna worry I know that You got me Right inside the palm of your hand

Each and every moment What’s good and what gets broken Happens just the way that You plan

And I will run to You

You’re my refuge in Your arms. And I will sing to You ’cause of everything You are

You steady my heart

It is fairly new. The new record that it is on is amazing! It is good to know that no matter what is going on, we can run to Jesus.

I can’t imagine NOT running to God, not having Jesus in my life. It seems so tragic. I’ve always thought it takes more faith to NOT believe there is a God who loves you than to believe there is a God who loves you. Why wouldn’t someone want to believe in something so wonderful? Truly baffles me.

          I totally agree with you!
