How We Can Overlook Blessings

For today’s post, I wanted to share a reminder of God’s blessings. If you think about it, God gives us blessings everyday. It doesn’t always have to be something extravagant. It could be a simple reminder, safety, provision, or a need that is met. The reality is that God blesses us in different ways all the time.

James 1:17

 

I believe that we often overlook the blessings God gives to us. It is easy to do. With all the negativity that is in the world, it is easy to miss seeing God’s blessings. The verse in the graphic above is a great reminder of how every good and perfect gift comes directly from God. If you just coast through life, it will be easy to miss seeing God’s blessings.

 

Challenge for today: Take some time to thank God for the blessings in your life. Also, pray that He would bless others around you.

    You’re right, sometimes we only look at the BIG blessings/answered prayers and forget all the small things He does for us.
    Like right now, I needed my toddler to take an early nap and God has graciously helped him rest. I thank God for that “small” and yet oh so important answered prayer.
