God Can Do More Than We Ask…Or Even Think!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

-Ephesians 3:20-21

This verse has been in my mind lately. It is one of my favorite verses! Knowing that God can do more than we coudl even imagine is amazing!

What verse has been on your heart lately? I challenge you to share it in the comments here and on your social media platform!

Challenge for today: Share a passage of Scripture that has been on your heart lately with others. This includes face-to-face with someone or sharing it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. By doing this, you may never know how it can change someone or give them encouragement that is only found from God!

By the way, how is your set coming along? Are you all practicing a lot?

        • http://www.facebook.com/kaylieking7 Kaylie King

Yeah! I just noticed that!!! Thats really cool! :) …and actually funny you should ask because the youth group band just left our house :b…we were practicing for this Sundays dinner night (we have once a month with youth group) You should totally come!!! :) (cause you still haven’t come to my youth group :/ lol and for the “Kings Crusade” we have been practicing 1 hr or more everyday!

          • http://bigb94.wordpress.com Brandon

That’s awesome! This Sunday would not work because we are singing with the youth choir in the service. But that is awesome! So is the special guest you are having sing related to you? Would I know who the special guest is?

          • http://www.facebook.com/kaylieking7 Kaylie King

Ahhh! Okay well good luck :) (even though you prob don’t need it haha)

Lol no he’s not related even though it seems like it at times xD…no like everyone at my church know him but little do they know he has a great voice!!!

Sounds like Brandon XD like, maybe 5 0r 6 weeks ago I would have laughed at Brandon singing without the choir XP

  • Joey

    Cool!

  • http://www.facebook.com/kaylieking7 Kaylie King

Sarah- Haha why would you have laughed at him??

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001370255303 Sarah E. Davis

I meant I would have laughed at the thought. He wasn’t too big a singer XD If I heard correctly, the year before I came into the youth group, they were having tryouts for a solo, and someone forced Brandon on stage, and he said into the microphone, “I’m not singing.”

      • http://bigb94.wordpress.com Brandon

That is true. I was picked up and placed in front of the mic with the music going, and I said “I’m not trying out for a solo!” haha. I still would be very reluctant to try out for a solo. I’m just not that kind of person. I will sing and lead worship, but something about singing a solo does not interest me…?

lolz, I love singing solo’s! remember last year? wait, you weren’t there that week… either way, I was the first one to go up ^_^

    Sarah- oooOOooo haha got ya!

Brandon- God doesn’t care what your voice sounds like!!! Belt it out man!!! Hahaha!!!

He actually can sing really good. (shockingly XD) I’m not sure how he started singing in the praise band, possibly just something he felt like doing, but he has a great voice.

    • http://www.facebook.com/kaylieking7 Kaylie King

Haha thats awesome!!! Lol now I’m going to have to hear his voice cause I’m curious!!! :)

For the past few years God has laid 2 Chron 7:14 on my heart for our nation and our churches. “If my people, who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, I’ll forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Wow! That’s a great verse! That’s actually used as lyrics in several songs.
      Thanks for sharing!
