A New Commenting System In Place: Disqus

Hey everyone! I just wanted to write this post to let you know that I have set-up a new commenting system on the site. I am a big fan of Disqus, but I have just not had the time to install it. (Yes, it only takes a few minutes…but I have had no minutes to spare).

For those of you who have never heard of Disqus, it is an awesome commenting system. When you comment, you can see replies directly in your inbox. This helps promote more discussion ans ease of commenting. I believe that Disqus will help this site’s discussion.

Also, sharing is simple to use with Disqus. You can easily post to Twitter and Facebook with one click! I really hope that this takes the comments section to a new level. It has really been suffering on the site the past few weeks.

    Yes, I use DISQUS on my blog.  I like it, although I’m sure I’m not using it to its full potential.

    I use Disqus as well. I’ve found it to be a terrific commenting system that beats WordPress’ default system.

      By far! I do have a question for you though…On all of my new posts, it still reads 0 comments even though there are comments. Did you have this problem with Disqus? Even on this post, it still reads 0 comments on the post…

      Do it! It is so worth it! I have gotten so many more comments and engagement on posts. The only reason I was hesitant to do it was because of the installation. I thought that there were codes and all, but actually, it is just a plugin. Super simple! It takes a few hours to convert everything over…
